About me

The Racing

Ever since I was a young boy, watching my Father racing cars, I’ve had a huge passion for motorsport and I’ve always wanted to be involved.

Growing up, I didn’t have the opportunity to do much karting, and therefore was a late starter in the sport. However, once I’d left University, my dad and I set about doing a few track days in our 60,000-mile Lotus Elise track toy.

It was after only a handful of times out on track that I was hooked, and was determined to be involved in competitive motorsport myself.

Then, at the age of 26, I was finally able to take my first steps into racing and signed up for my first season of competition – with the novice-only Ginetta GRDC Series in 2019.

Despite being a late entrant, the series has been a fantastic learning experience and I took my first podium in only my 5th ever start, with my first win coming in my 8th race.

I ended the season 4th overall in the Championship standings, missing out on the top three by just 5 points!

For 2020, I’m looking to continue up the Ginetta motorsport ladder. Having learnt my trade so quickly in my first year, I am aiming to jump an extra step and head straight for the ultra-competitive GT5 Challenge, in support of both the British GT and BTCC series, and test my skills against the very best young drivers in the Country.

The Rest

I was born in 1993 in Oxford, growing up in a small village in Oxfordshire. I subsequently moved to the Harrogate, North Yorkshire area in 2006 – where my parents remain. I spent 3 years in Manchester, studying Mathematics at the University of Manchester from 2011-2014, and returned to Harrogate for a while afterwards before making the move back down to South, to London, in 2017.

When I’m not at a circuit, my day job is in Finance. I’m an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant, and through 5 years’ experience in Audit, coupled with regular networking engagements, I am accustomed to dealing with, and entertaining, business contacts from a variety of industries and backgrounds.

With my professional experience and character, I can bring a positive impact to corporate engagements with my partners – be that a corporate trackday, entertaining business contacts at a race weekend, or networking events.

Outside of racing and work, I am a huge football (Chelsea) fan, love to travel, and I’m passionate about food and cooking.

If you think a partnership with me could be an opportunity for your business, I would be delighted to hear from you and explain more about what we can offer as a partner. Click the link below to be directed to the Contact page.
